Two-Step Plan for Success

Step 1: Kill all the white farmers.
Step 2: Starve to death.

Faith of Our Fathers

Today our education is so poor that we aren’t as familiar with our ancestors’ history as we should be.  One thing that isn’t taught is the degree to which the various European nations suffered.  In many cases, persecutions came from the outside:  the Muslims had frequently conquered large portions of Europe.  Slavery was common.  For seven consecutive centuries the Spaniards and Portuguese suffered under Muslim control and slavery.  The word “slave” is derived from the Slavic peoples of Eastern Europe.  They were so frequently enslaved by the Muslims that the term came to be associated with them.  It’s not often that you hear that white people suffered slavery as much as any other nation.

But worse than being invaded and conquered from the outside is being persecuted by your own blood.  This, too, was common; and every European nation suffered slavery at some period in history.  In Britain and Ireland it was finally abolished — by demand of the Church — in the 12th century.

Still, the European peoples lived in the crucible of wars and internal persecutions for much of history.  For the latter, Fr. Frederick Faber wrote this hymn and dedicated it to all the English and Irish martyrs, and in particular for those who suffered so much after King Henry VIII completely lost his mind.  It seems that all throughout history there is always some goon that’s eager to persecute the Church.  BUT WE’RE STILL HERE!

The hymn, used with the tune Sawston, is very popular in England and Ireland as it rouses a great patriotic spirit; it used to be played before Irish sporting events back when they were still a Catholic country.  In the Americas the tune used is typically St. Catherine.  We don’t have much of a history of religious persecution in the US, but we better get prepared because it’s surely coming.  I think the future holds that we’re going to suffer a sort of “dual persecution”.  The first with the treasonous persecution from our own blood (the leaders and revolutionaries), and secondly by the invasion of the third world.  We will have to draw on our ancestors’ strength to make it through, remembering that they, too, suffered much at times.

With the way things are going in our countries, we should probably memorize these lyrics pretty quickly.

Faith of Our Fathers

Tune: St. Catherine (Henri Hemy, 1864)
Text:  Fr. Frederick William Faber (1849)

Faith of our Fathers! living still
In spite of dungeon, fire, and sword:
Oh, how our hearts beat high with joy
Whene’er we hear that glorious word.

Faith of our Fathers! Holy Faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Our Fathers, chained in prisons dark,
Were still in heart and conscience free:
How sweet would be their children’s fate,
If they, like them, could die for thee!

Faith of our Fathers! Holy Faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our Fathers! Mary’s prayers
Shall win our country back to thee:
And through the truth that comes from God
Our land shall then indeed be free.

Faith of our Fathers! Holy Faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our Fathers! we will love
Both friend and foe in all our strife:
And preach thee too, as love knows how
By kindly words and virtuous life:

Faith of our Fathers! Holy Faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

The Tyranny of Tolerance

I am amazed at how many people today see George Orwell’s 1984 not as a warning, but rather an instruction manual.  News stories about punishing wrongthink are becoming quite common both in Europe and the United States.

In the following example, a young man was suspended from a university for not demonstrating sufficient enthusiasm for his countrymen’s demographic replacement:

A British teenager claims he has been suspended from university for describing halal slaughter as “inhumane” and saying immigrants should not be allowed to use the National Health Service (NHS) for free, and cannot return unless he signs a conduct agreement and undertakes diversity training.

UKIP activist Sebastian Walsh, 19, was critical of “Islamisation”, halal slaughter, and the treatment of women by sharia courts in class discussions at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) — and reported to the university authorities by his tutors and suspended as a result, according to MailOnline.

The university explains itself by saying that tolerance is its highest value, and therefore opinions other than their own are unacceptable:

“UCLAN is proud to host a campus community comprised of many cultures, faiths, nationalities and beliefs,” a spokesman for the university said in response to the controversy surrounding the suspension.

“It values this rich diversity and takes seriously its responsibility to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all [and] promotes lawful, open debate, the discussion of varying views and academic freedom and has in place robust procedures to ensure this can take place,” they added — but then went on to say that Walsh’s “offensive and inappropriate comments” were unacceptable.

For the record:  halal meat is disgusting.  First of all, there are many stories about the unsanitary conditions in halal slaughterhouses across the US.  Second, the method of killing is just plain inhumane.  Avoid halal meat at all costs if you can.  I say “if you can” because now many chain restaurants are including halal meat simply to appeal to the increasing Muslim population in Western countries.

This also calls attention to one of the more effective tactics that is being used against sane people:  if you simply express views that aren’t completely insane — e.g., wanting your nation to survive — you are being cut off from the structures of society:  suspended from university, fired from your job, having banks and credit card companies unwilling to do business with you, etc.  All because of your political beliefs.  It reminds me of something from the Apocalypse, where in the end times one won’t be able to buy or sell unless he has the “mark of the beast” (i.e., unless he succumbs to the wickedness of the era).

On the Meaning of Virtue

You can learn a lot about a word by studying its etymology.  Our English word virtue comes from the Latin word virtus, which has a slightly more robust meaning than what we typically think of when using the English word today.  Virtus is moral excellence, but also with an implicit connotation of strength and manliness that is caused by this virtus.  In fact, the root Latin word of virtus is vir, which means man (and hence words such as virile, etc.).

So we have to consider that at that time, in that culture, the concept that we loosely call “virtue” today was considered a mark of strength in a man.  A man was sort of measured by his level of virtue.  A virtuous man was a strong man, and vice-versa.  Do we think anything like that today?

In Roman times — even before Christendom was established — there was a very well-defined list of virtues that men were expected to attain in order to be respected in society:  constancy, discipline, fortitude, courage, self-mastery, clemency, etc.  And like anything these virtues had to be developed — much like physical strength has to be developed through exercise and training, the virtues are developed and made stronger in us by exercising them.

Now if we accept the ancient idea that virtue and strength are correlated, what can we say about a nation that is high in virtue and, alternatively, a nation that is low in virtue?  Or, put a different way, a nation whose people on average exhibit a high or low level of virtue.  Which nation would be harder to defeat in battle: the one where its men demonstrate extraordinary virtue in areas like courage, fortitude, prudence and temperance — or the one where everybody is a lazy bum?  Which nation would be more likely to be subverted by evil ideologies and destroyed from within?  The one strengthened by virtue or the one weakened by vice?

So everybody is running around asking what we can do to fix our countries.  Well here’s an easy thing we can do ourselves:  we can work on our personal virtue.  And we don’t need an act of Congress or a political movement or a steering committee or whatever to get us started.  We can just do it.  We can get busy exercising.

There’s also a second part to this.

It has always been a teaching of the Church that God is more likely to hear (i.e., answer) the prayers of those who reach a high degree of sanctity.  In fact for those people who do reach such a level of holiness — and they are few but they are out there — they can pretty much ask God for anything serious and if it is in accord with His will, He will grant it.  That can be a very motivating and reassuring thought.

And finally, if you can see the writing on the wall, you can accurately predict that many Western nations will soon be crying out to God asking for Him to save us from this mess.  (This is no time for Pollyannas.)  If we want to be heard, we better purify ourselves.

Enemy of the People

Are the main stream media the Enemy of the People?  You know it!  They jumped on that fake Jussie Smollett hoax — and everyone with a brain knew from the get-go that it was a hoax — because it ginned up sympathy for blacks and gays and smeared white MAGA men as violent, racist criminals.  It didn’t matter if the story was true or not, they just wanted to reinforce that false narrative in people’s minds.  People tend to remember the first impression, even if it’s wrong.

I suspect this actual, true, fact-based event that has 100% video evidence won’t be covered much on CNN and NBC:

Police have arrested a suspect who they say duct-taped a store clerk and a customer, then set the customer on fire during a robbery at a Palestine, Texas convenience store.

The robbery occurred Thursday morning at the Pit Stop on North Link Street.

Thursday afternoon officers arrested Robert Thompson, 40, at JJ’s Fast Stop in the 1200 block of East Palestine.

Thompson was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated robbery.

According to Chief Andy Harvey, the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. He is shown on surveillance video asking the store clerk for something from behind the counter, and when her back is turned, he is shown pulling a handgun out. He is then shown forcing the clerk into a corner behind the counter.

The video also shows the man – later identified as Thompson – going to the door of the store, and physically bringing a female customer into the store. He is shown duct-taping her behind the counter. He then doused the women with fluid, and lit the customer, identified by police as Della Witt-Denizeri, on fire.

“The suspect … decided to pour lighter fluid on the cashier and the customer. Right before he left, he lit a match and lit them on fire,” Harvey said.

Yet another black-on-white crime that won’t be covered with 24/7 headlines by the Fake News.  The facts go against the narrative that must be established.

How can we have a “democracy” when we don’t even have an honest press in this country?  How are people supposed to be informed so they can vote properly when the press lies every time they operate, both in what they report and what they fail to report?

And those district attorneys better bring a stronger charge than simply aggravated assault.  Lighting somebody on fire sounds like attempted murder to me.

Within ten years this whole country is going to explode because there is NO LAW AND ORDER in this country.  And people are getting pissed because they feel like they have no voice.

The Signs of Our Times

I like watching these old Bishop Sheen black-and-whites because they really give an idea of the imminent moral and political challenges our country faced back then. We can see some of the crossroads that the nation faced and, 65 years later, we can judge whether the country made the right choices or not. Prominent themes were communism, Russia, and the fear of nuclear war. Perhaps today we have to admit that communism eventually did win in America (and the West). And even now we have fools in Washington constantly poking the Bear, risking a war that would be the end of us.  It is too soon to say that we have cleared the threat of nuclear war.

It is hard to believe that back then this program was a top prime-time show. I don’t think we could see something like that now, which alone says something.

I wonder: what are the signs of our times today?  How would God judge us?

Get the Rope Ready

Consider the wit of Chesterton:

Which is the worse pestilence?  The rapist, or the one who invites the rapist into your home?

Folks, I wish this was a rare story coming from Europe but unfortunately it’s not.  When you indiscriminately openly your borders for the third-world to pour in unvetted, this sort of thing becomes all to common:

A 22-year-old Syrian man accused of being the instigator of a brutal gang rape of an 18-year-old German woman will appear in a juvenile court, despite his age.

Majd H. allegedly orchestrated the brutal four-hour gang rape of the teenager, which took place after he allegedly drugged her in a nightclub in Freiburg, south-west Germany on October 14 last year.

German police believe Majd H. raped the woman outside the club, before calling ‘at least nine’ of his friends, aged between 19 and 30, who then took turns in sexually assaulting her.  …

At the time of the sexual assault of the 18-year-old, Majd H. had an arrest warrant against him for a drugs offence, and was supposed to be arrested on the 23rd October. …

One of the other crimes which Majd H. is charged with is the alleged rape of a 19-year-old girl in September 2017 in his flat in Freiburg.

According to prosecutors, the 19-year-old was also raped by two other Syrian men aged 22 and 23. The latter allegedly also took part in the gang rape of the 18-year-old outside the night club.

Can you believe that the Germans of all people are tolerating this bullshit?  What the hell happened to them?  Their own girls are being gang-raped by “refugees” for whom their government makes accommodations.  And the same government thinks a juvenile court is fitting here?  I expect the rapists here will be getting a slap on the wrist, which is a common trend for migrants in Europe now.

What the hell is going on here?  Our countries are run by people who almost seem to get a thrill out of our subjugation.  No legitimate authority would ever tolerate this kind of violence from guests or invite it to their land.

According to local news reports, Majd H. came to Germany in 2014, and is believed to have had links to the YPG – a Kurdish militia which has been involved in fighting ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

What do you expect to  happen when you just open your borders to everyone?

Would you let this guy into your country?

China’s Road Network

I might not be the most bullish person on China since I think they have many non-trivial problems brewing beneath the surface, but you have to admit that there is a lot to be said about how their government operates when it comes to building up the country.  There is an inherent strength in a nationalist form of government that is hard to deny.

Chinese leaders take the nation’s resources and reinvest them into its own country. This is what happens when it has leaders that care first and foremost about China. Contrast it to your typical Western democracy, which allows its treasury to be looted by all kinds of self-serving miscreants — the US is at $4 trillion dumped in the Middle East so far. Corruption in the Chinese government is certainly not uncommon, but I’ll bet it’s no more common than what occurs in today’s America. Every member of Congress comes out a multi-multi-millionaire. Think of the massive amount of tax revenue generated at the federal and local levels in the US, and consider that you can’t even get the potholes filled in your local road.

The problem with modern Western democracies is that they’re all led by “hired hands” who have no real stake in the countries they’re leading. They’re sort of like the CEO who takes over a company he didn’t build, and writes a golden parachute into his contract — he doesn’t care if the company goes under, as long as he gets his.  At least in China, President Xi and the rest of the Politburo know that if they don’t keep things running smoothly, they’ll be hanging from lampposts. There’s no similar fear in Western politics. In a worst case scenario, a politician is maybe voted out of office, but he still gets to keep all the capital he accumulated.

I think Western countries are going to have to take a bit of timeout and re-examine if the strategy we’ve adopted in modern decades is the right solution for the future.

Hey Kid, Here’s a One-Way Ticket

If this country has another civil war, I’m inclined to believe it’s going to be a race war.  At least one side is all ginned up from birth with false grievances:

An 11-year-old Florida student was arrested for allegedly threatening to beat his teacher because he refused to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, calling the pledge “racist” to black people.  …

The alleged incident began when a substitute teacher asked the student to stand for the pledge.

The student, who usually does not stand for the pledge, replied that he would not participate in the Pledge of Allegiance because he believed the American flag is racist and the national anthem is offensive towards black people.

The substitute teacher pushed back, telling district officials she told the student, “Why if it was so bad here, he did not go to another place to live.”

“They brought me here,” the boy reportedly replied.

“Well you can always go back, because I came here from Cuba and the day I feel I’m not welcome here anymore I would find another place to live,” the teacher then reportedly answered, before calling in other school officials to deal with the student.

An 11-year-old kid thinks that he was “brought here” against his will?  Seriously?  He’s too young to be this bitter and ignorant, so where is he getting all this trash-thinking from?

His mother, Dhakira Talbot, said the school should have handled the situation differently and is working with the Poor and Minority Justice Association, a nonprofit organization, to get the charges dropped.

“I’m upset, I’m angry. I’m hurt,” Talbot said. “More so for my son. My son has never been through anything like this. I feel like this should’ve been handled differently. If any disciplinary action should’ve been taken, it should’ve been with the school. He shouldn’t have been arrested.”

Ahhh… no wonder.  His mother immediately plays the victim role and runs off to the “Poor and Minority Justice Association” to extract reparations.

The school suspended the student for three days for threatening the teacher, meanwhile the teacher was told that “she could no longer work at any schools within the district.”  Who would want to work in these public schools anymore?

This country is loaded up with these little hell-raisers that will end up in prison some day.  How do these people get off being so damn bitter?  They are among the only 5% of the world’s population that lives in the US.  Most people aren’t fortunate enough to live in a first-world country.  They enjoy a standard of living that is uncommon in the world, and yet all they do is bitch about their victimhood.  And worse, they get free food, free housing, free phones, free cars, free medical care, free everything and all they do is bitch and complain about white people.

Sooner or later this is going to have to be addressed.  This cancer is only going to spread and get worse.  I don’t know what the answer is but it’s hard to see how these people can be integrated into this society.  Future generations are going to have to make some very serious and difficult choices.  I think it would be cheaper to find a government in Africa that will be willing to take them back with a $100,000 stipend or something to grease the palms a bit.  They’re clearly not going to be happy here.

And I know some libertarians out there don’t like the idea of a government requiring pledges of allegiance and such… but when you get down to it, you can’t have a nation without national unity and a common culture and character.  And you can’t have a nation with a government you don’t trust.  Multiculturalism is the antithesis of a nation.

Revisiting Evolution

Many people feel comfortable today not believing in God because they feel that the great complexity evident in the world can simply be explained by Darwinian evolution theory.  But does it really make sense?  Does this even pass the smell test, or is this sort of a 19th-century fable that has been desperately kept alive by a group of biologists that we’re just supposed to trust with blind faith?

No analogy is perfect, but let’s consider one that should at least get the gears turning a bit.

The theory of evolution by Darwin posits that organisms can form into new species (“speciation”) even of greater complexity through two independent processes:  random mutation and natural selection.  Mutation can occur from radiation or copying errors during cell replication, etc.  And natural selection covers the idea that a mutation that is beneficial to the organism is likely to be retained and one that is detrimental is likely to be rejected.

Now there’s a lot of hand-waving here.  First, since mutations are more often detrimental than beneficial to the organism, every mutation is not going to promote evolution.  Second, it’s not shown how natural selection keeps positive mutations at a higher frequency than it fails to reject negative ones.  (In other words, since mutations tend to be detrimental more often than beneficial, one would expect, over time, an accumulative effect that shows genetic entropy rather than evolution.)

But consider a simple analogy.  Let’s say we have a blank hard disk.  Information is stored on the disk, at the lowest level, as 0s and 1s.  Zero represents no magnetism on the medium, and 1 represents some magnetism.  These bit states can be unintentionally modified through electromagnetic radiation.  The hard disk has a piece of software called firmware installed on a chip, which has algorithms that assist in reading and writing from the disk and correcting data errors.  Let us say, for the sake of argument, that the firmware on the drive has a program that simulates natural selection:  it can detect bit-level changes that are beneficial for the overall system and keep those, while throwing out those changes that are bad.

My question is:  how long would it take — just by changes in electromagnetic radiation — to go from a blank hard drive to a fully-functional Windows 10 system?  How much time would it take to develop that level of complexity just from random mutations to the 0s and 1s?

If that seems like an unfair question, then let’s start with a hard drive that has Windows for Workgroups 3.11 already installed.  How many years of random radiation effects and copy errors would it take to evolve into Windows 10?

An evolutionary biologist would just answer, “Ohh with a trillion years it’s possible!”  But to be honest, I don’t think it could ever happen.  It just doesn’t make sense.

People are biased to believe in evolution because they see progress all about them and project that onto biology.  We used to have rotary phones, now we have smartphones — evolution!  We used to have aqueducts and now we have indoor plumbing — see, evolution!  But moving from a rotary phone to a smartphone didn’t happen simply through random mutations, it was an application of human intelligence that caused the progress and the increase in complexity is explained by intelligence.

(And for the record, a single human cell is significantly more complex than even a smartphone.  In fact, just a single human cell has more information than the entire Windows 10 source code, if converted to a computer storage measurement.  The complexity of a human cell was something completely unknown in Darwin’s time.)

What do you think, does it make sense?  Going from a fish to a human is a far greater increase in complexity than going from Windows 3.11 to Windows 10.  And I can tell you that anyone who thinks the latter is possible simply does not understand how source code works.  So what does it say about a biologist who believes the former is possible?
